Asgari Law Participates in ICC Iran Insurance Commission Meeting on Arbitration Clauses

ICC Iran recently held its Sixth Meeting of the Insurance Commission, focusing on the review and development of standard arbitration clauses for energy, engineering, and reinsurance contracts.

Ms. Anahita Asgari Fard, Managing Partner of Asgari & Associates Law Firm (Asgari Law) and an international arbitration specialist, was invited to participate in the meeting as a legal expert in arbitration and dispute resolution.

During the session, participants examined key legal and technical considerations in drafting arbitration clauses tailored to complex insurance structures in the energy and engineering sectors, including EPC projects and reinsurance arrangements. The discussions emphasized enforceability under Iranian law, compliance with international arbitration standards, and practical mechanisms for resolving multi-party, technically complex disputes.
